David Fathers has years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in the Records Management industry. He began working in the Records Management  field in 1992 and joined Crown UK in 2002. He has held a number of Records Management roles within the company, i.e., general manager, UK & Ireland; commercial manager – Europe and the Middle East. David now has a new role as the branch manager for Crown Johannesburg and remains the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Records Management.

As a Branch Manager he is responsible for the overall development of Crown business in Johannesburg. His role as SME Records Management ensures that he continues in the development of Records Management Services throughout the region. In additiona, he provides guidance, advice and support for the country managers within Africa and the Middle East.

David is a key member of the Crown strategic Think Tank for  Records Management services and continues to be instrumental in the development of various projects including confidential waste destruction, document imaging and hosting services throughout the Group.

His strengths lie in his business development and operations experience, as well as his problem-solving ability. He develops strong relationships not only with clients but also competitors and vendors. David and his team in the UK helped build the business into a multimillion-pound operation  and accelerated Crown UK's growth within just four years. In 2004, Crown Records Management UK was recognized by the Group with an Outstanding Achievement Award.
