Iwan Turner has been with Crown Records Management since January 2007 and has worked in the industry for 10 years. His career began in the Operations division at Pickfords Records Management (acquired by Crown in 2006) and developed into an expansive role incorporating systems setup and maintenance.
He has extensive experience in the day-to-day management of records facilities and operations, and has established a number of new management centres. Throughout his career, Iwan has held a number of prominent positions in all areas of records management, from customer service to his current role of Systems trainer and consultant for Crown, EMEA.
His responsibilities range from providing systems training and advice, to testing and implementing upgrades and working with local teams to deliver enhanced operational efficiencies throughout the business. Since joining Crown, Iwan has been instrumental in the development of new sites in South Africa, and Botswana and the roll-out of RSWeb.NET and RMi throughout EMEA. He has also undertaken a number of data conversion programs for specific clients.
He was educated in the UK and his expertise lies in his attention to detail and his problem-solving abilities.
