About Crown Malaysia
In Malaysia, Crown operates three Records Management Centres in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and in Johor. Crown Kuala Lumpur has recently expanded its storage facilities. The warehouse extension provides state of the art document management facilities with a capacity of over 700,000 cartons for their multi-national clients. Crown Penang has also expanded and moved into a thoroughly modern facility that no other relocation or records management company in Penang can match. Crown Penang now resides in a 9,000sq. ft. facility and has racking for 75,000 cartons while our Johor branch resides on a 20,000 sq. ft. facility with the ability to manage up to 120,000 cartons.
Only Crown’s designated staff members are allowed entry into Crown’s Records Center facilities. And, all staff members undergo evaluations by security and are required to sign confidentiality agreements.

- All round fencing 24 hour security guards at frontage
- Full card access system to front office and warehouse linked to PC monitored Access System
- External office monitoring of these areas are available 24 hours via password control access.
Information Security
Information security is maintained primarily through automated systems. All of our information systems are kept on servers with file level security behind hardware internal firewalls and scanned frequently with the latest in virus protection software.
Fire Protection System
The whole premise - office and warehouse area is fully protected by a zonal sprinkler system and linked to the Fire Department via our CMS (Central Monitoring System).
Theft Prevention
- Warehouse access monitored by CCTV recordings
- Vehicle access controlled by gate barrier and checks by security guards
- Visitors to premises are only by appointment and accompanied by Crown staff after registering at Reception situated in the main lobby)
- Layered Card Access System
Climate Protection
Temperature (humidity is monitored on a daily basis for consistency).
Pre-Employment Screening & Background Checks
Short-listed persons applying for employment are duly checked to ensure they are legal to work. When it is deemed necessary, detailed background checks will be carried out with the consent of the applicant.
Employee Training
All new employees undergo a training and orientation program not limited to their own specific work scopes. On the job training cover instructions and procedures of prevailing quality and security practices.
