Martin Budd has worked in the records management industry since February 2000. He served his records management apprenticeship with Hays as head of their sales division. He has developed an extensive knowledge of the European market place its products and its services, Martin also has a comprehensive knowledge of both the commercial and key compliance drivers that are pushing the boundaries of development and innovation within the industry.

Martin became an active member of the Crown team in March 2006 but prior to taking up his current position, Martin played a pivotal role in developing the Pan-European business services division and was responsible for creating the base sales and marketing strategies for the records management, Crate Hire and business moving service lines.

With his strong personal profile and strong network of contacts within the industry and the larger business community, Martin is qualified to handle all aspects of the business including commercial, operational, sales and service delivery. He is pragmatic, pays attention to detail and has a proven ability to deliver from a blank canvas. Martin is able to support the definition of a product or service and then subsequently scope a facility and its infrastructure to provide the agreed services.

Martin's current position and primary area of responsibility lies in developing Crown UK and Ireland's records management proposition along with leading the sales, marketing and account management function.

Martin holds an HND in engineering, an advanced certificate in marketing and is a supportive member of the Records Management Society, UK.
