Canada Goes Green with New Trucks
Crown Records Management, a document management company specializing in business records, document storage and secure document destruction for private and corporate relocation clients, is pleased to announce that Crown Toronto added the first "Low Emissions Vehicle" truck to the fleet. The 2012 Freightliner M2 is a zero emission certified, clean idle truck that also comes in a hybrid version. The standard M2 Business Class truck has zero emissions while idling and is manufactured to produce no more pollution than a regular car while in motion. In terms of truck size, the Freightliner M2 is very large. This line of trucks is offered by one of only a handful of manufacturers currently building to meet Canada's extremely high 2010 emissions standards for trucks. Many truck manufacturers choose to pay a penalty to manufacture vehicles that are not in compliance to be price competitive. Crown Canada strives to do everything possible to minimize their impact on the environment including pro-actively recycling all in-house waste products where possible and maximizing their environmentally friendly fleet.
