Houston partners with local school

In May, the Houston team from Crown Records Management and Crown Relocations formed an Adopt-a-School partnership with Lee Elementary School. The Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community and business partners to enrich the quality of education for students.

To kick off the partnership, both Crown teams attended a celebration ceremony at the school. Going forward, our employees will be participating in various initiatives such as donating school supplies, mentoring students and supporting teacher appreciation functions. The adoption program is ongoing and will continue into the upcoming 2015-2016 school year, commencing in August. “I think it will mean a lot to staff, students and parents. When you have community involvement, it says a lot about your campus,” shared Lee principal Tonya Goree. “We’re excited about not just the financial aspects of the partnership, but seeing our students aspire to what the company is doing. Some of them may want to be entrepreneurs or drivers.”
