Dominic Johnstone appointed by Crown Records Management to drive business in the digital era

Dominic, an expert in information management strategy with more than 17 years of experience, arrives from Repstor Ltd where he was Sales Manager for EMEA.

As an advisor on information management strategy Dominic has particular expertise in the area of information governance – and one of his primary roles at Crown Records Management will be to further develop the company’s IM consultancy practice.

Barry Koolen, Regional Managing Director at Crown Worldwide commented: “This is a strategic appointment in a rapidly-moving market and we are delighted to have Dominic on board.

“Crown Records Management was born in the structured world of paper records but has grown significantly in the information age in which the explosion of data seems never-ending.

“We expect Dominic’s experience in governance and information management to further strengthen our offering and to drive the business forward.”

Dominic Johnstone said: “It is an exciting time to be arriving at Crown Records Management and to be part of a forward-looking team.

“For me, it is clear the digital era has opened up exciting opportunities and significant risks in equal measure for companies across the UK and Ireland. The demand for information management consultancy is high as businesses begin to drown in data.

“By being ahead of the game in terms of our knowledge of policy and process we can provide businesses with tools that put them in control of the data they create.”

Dominic will be based at Crown Records Management’s London office.
