Sharing Love with Paupers and Homeless with Crown

Crown Worldwide Malaysia has partnered up with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) to extend food aids to Pertubuhan Prihatin Sejagat, a non-governmental charity organization for the vulnerable communities.

COVID-19 case numbers have continued to rise in Selangor, Wilayah Perseketuan and other states. Many individuals and families, especially those within the vulnerable sections, who have been most impacted by the pandemic were food insecure or at risk of food insecurity before COVID-19 and are now facing greater hardship since the outbreak.

After learning that hundreds of families are struggling with food insecurity as a result of the series of lockdowns imposed by the government in an effort to contain virus, Crown Worldwide Malaysia decided to lend a helping hand by launching “Sharing Love with Pauper and Homeless” Campaign. It is a charity drive that encourages Crown employees to make contributions to the needy and underserved communities.

Crown Worldwide Malaysia collected donations of cash and boxes of non-perishable food items among our employees. All the funds raised were used to purchase more food supplies and other staples.

Over the years, Crown Worldwide Malaysia strives nurture the culture of giving back within workspace, in a bid to make a difference for people in our communities, especially during difficult time like this.
