Artificial intelligence is setting up the internet for a huge clash with Europe – WIRED

Anyone who’s aware of the GDPR will be familiar with the term “Right to be Forgotten”.

I came across this interesting article on the potential need to address a “right to explanation”.

I still talk to people who think that Records & Information management is ‘just’ an IT or Facilities problem and don’t really think about compliance.

This is another small aspect of GDPR that proves that organisations need to be taking this incredibly seriously, otherwise it’s going to be a mammoth task to comply…. Or even to get themselves into a position where they know (and can demonstrate that they know) the size of the task. – Simon Allen, Business Development Manager, Digital Services.
