Crown Records Management has appointed Michelle Kermath as Head of Technical & Consultancy for ECM.
Michelle has more than a decade of experience in the digital transformation space and was previously business consultancy and solutions manager for three years at Kyocera Document Solutions.
She also spent two years with Process Flows and brings customer lifecycle and software development lifecycle experience to the business.
The news follows the recent appointment of Antony Biondi as Crown Records Management’s first Head of ECM, plus the announcement of a strategic partnership with German-based ELO Digital.
Crown Records Management Regional General Manager UKI, David Fathers, said: “This is an exciting time for the business as we look to further develop our new digital transformation offering.
“We are delighted to have brought Michelle on board. She has been steeped in the digital transformation customer journey for many years and has the ability to help our clients, and future clients, understand and then resolve their business needs.”
Michelle will head up the technical side of delivery, using her vast knowledge in the sector to identify bespoke enterprise content management (ECM) solutions which deliver real business benefits.
“The exciting part for me is that it’s an end-to-end service and I will be there for our clients from the start of the journey all the way through,” said Michelle.
“The role spans from assessing a company’s needs with a business process review, to identifying and implementing ideal solutions, and then providing on-going support once new processes are in place.”
Crown Records Management, part of the Crown Worldwide group, has a long and successful history offering scanning, records management, secure destruction and physical data storage services. Now it sees digital transformation as a natural next step.
Michelle added: “For me, that’s exciting. This is a new service at Crown Records Management and it is refreshing to come to a company where you can be involved from the outset – but also one that is ambitious and long-established.
“Crown is already immersed in the digital world, from document management to scanning. So, although this is a new space, we are remaining true to our strengths.”
