A large NHS Trust approached Crown with a desperate need to reduce costs within their document management programme .By looking at the project in a different way and by sharing our insight, the Trust has saved over £50,000 per year on managing their files compared to previous spend.

We have been supporting this NHS Trust organisation for well over 10 years, with a range of projects and services delivered during that time, ranging from the physical storage and management of over 2.5 million records to the scanning and delivery of electronic images.

This hospital had a challenge around how they stored and managed their physical medical records. Historically, files had been put into whatever available space was available to them. Consequently, records were being held in 3 locations, all on different sites, which presented a logistical and accessibility issue.
