Security is Our Top Priority | Certified Destruction

We take data security very seriously. E-Waste and IT equipment is a high-risk area for data loss and breaches.

One of the biggest mistakes that a company can make is disposing of electronic media (hard drives, CDs/DVDs, computers, and more) without properly destroying the data stored on the equipment. It’s a given that computers and external hard drives could hold critical information even after you delete it, but did you know that your fax machines, printers, copiers and even older digital phones store easily retrievable data?

Crown’s professional media destruction service keeps sensitive materials out of landfills. Our service guarantees the protection of your privacy, brand name and the environment.

Secure Hard Drive Destruction

Our on-site data destruction services include hard drive crushing, hard drive shredding, data erasure and hard drive degaussing.

To comply with recognized standards, including NSA/DoD regulations, a degausser must be used prior to destroying hard drives. In a typical national security operation, a destroyer is used in conjunction with a NSA-approved degausser. Using a degausser is the only way to guarantee all data on hard drives and other magnetic media is completely unrecoverable. This is because it is possible to recover data from a small piece of a hard drive that has not been degaussed.

Data Destruction Standards

A detailed Certificate of Destruction is critical documentation for any hard drive destruction project. Data privacy laws and information destruction guidelines require verification and proof of data destruction. Our standardized policies, procedures, training and equipment guarantee assured compliance.
