We are very pleased to announce the opening of our new records management centre near Chennai.
Jim Thompson, Crown’s Chairman, Ken Madrid, Group CFO, Srinivas Krishnan, Managing Director – South Asia and Praveen Joseph, Assistant General Manager inaugurated the state-of-art greenfield facility on 26th May, 2015. The ceremony was attended by select clients and media representatives.
The facility is one of its kind within the records management space in India and will provide an enhanced level of support to our clients. Situated in Guduvanchery, near Chennai, the facility deploys the best technology and know-how to enhance safety and security of the records stored. Spread over a sprawling five acres of land, the facility has capacity to store 2.2 million cartons when fully operational. The site is being developed in phases, the first phase is up and ready with a storage capacity of 1.2 million cartons and the second phase is expected to be operational by 2016-17.
